The improvements in the production control and in the guarantee that the commercialized packaging are 100% safe and competent to contain products that are orientated to the human consumption have allowed to the companies of Cartonajes la Plana to obtain the BRC-IOP certification by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) in their production plant in Betxí (Castellon), consolidating the support of the food industry and its positioning as one of the model in the corrugated cardboard sector in Spain.
After the planning and preparation carried out in recent months, it has been finally installed the new corrugating group of latest generation with double roller team game. In addition, they replaced the previous five coil supports with new BHS also of last generation, which allows loading coils of one and a half meters in diameter without any problems.
The expansion and diversification of products and markets that Cartonajes la Plana has experienced in recent years, coupled with the new trends in design, quality and printing of packaging, has led the company to gradually adapt their production process and sales.
In the last year, several trucks have been signaged with the logo of the company belonging to assembly centers: Valencia, Castellón, Almeria and Murcia.
